There's a wide selection of 3-wheel all-terrain pushchairs available with a fantastic off-road performance. They are perfect if reside in the countryside or regularly walk on rough, uneven terrain. They are typically more durable and durable than a standard pushchair, and come with features like large wheels that can withstand punctures to handle the most difficult of surfaces. They are usually quite wide, and may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces or narrow aisles in shops.

There are a number of all-terrain strollers that do not have a reversible seat. However, the Oyster 3, Venicci Tanum and egg 2, which offer this option, have a good weight limit as well as a robust off-road ability. A lot of pushchairs are categorized as all-rounders. It's not as versatile like the other pushchairs with all-terrain capabilities on this list but it does cope well with hilly terrain and has a spacious one-handed fold, which is great if you're going to be using the pushchair for long walks or trips to the countryside. It is suitable for children and features a large canopy that can be extended and a movable handlebar and a hugely-sized basket.

For parents that want to take their child off-road but don't necessarily fancy tackling Ben Nevis, there are excellent all terrain pushchairs that give you the best of both worlds. Look for a model with excellent all-terrain capabilities, durable suspension, and large puncture-proof wheels, but built in the traditional pushchair style with reversible seats as well as full carrycot options.
UPPAbaby’s popular Ridge all-terrain pushchair is a good example. It offers excellent suspension and a single-hand fold and a generous basket that can hold up to 10kg. But it also has many features that are child-friendly, like an adjustable handlebar as well as an operated break that can be operated by hand on the right.
